According to ASTM D407-02 for water
and sediments separation in oil, the
centrifuge separation proved to be the
most effective method when filters and coalescers are not effective for
applications such as crude-oil, lube-oil,
FOD or rich water diesel clarification.
Optical analysers resolution on NIR
spectrophotometers requiring clarified
samples has been greatly improved by
using centrifuge rather than coalescer.
Superior performances such as 96.7% of
removed particles for less of 0.5 μm or
water separation to 10 ppm have been
field proved on water saturated samples
with no maintenance.
The driving is pneumatic and ATEX
certified for zone 1 & 2. |
